A Guide to Counseling Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders by Albert J. Contugno describes the Social Competence Enhancement Program and is about the best I have seen so far of a description of a systematic therapeutic approach to working with individuals on the Spectrum, and specifically ASD individuals with high intelligence and strong verbal skills.
